VWB Jack Parker Memorial Saturday @ 3PM - Harmony Lodge

Jack C. Parker Passed away on January 5, 2012. He is survived by his son, Gary Parker. Jack was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on December 17, 1924. He served in both World War II and the Korean War. He retired from the US Navy after 30 years of service as a Senior Gunner's Mate. Following WW II, Jack enrolled in watch maker's school and became an avid watch and clock maker. He served as a U.S. Customs Inspector for 20 years. Jack was preceded in death by his daughter Patty, and wife of 65 years, Peggy. Jack had a profound impact on many lives and he will truly be missed. Jack joined the Masonic fraternity in 1950, and was a Mason for over 61-plus years. He was a member of both Harmony Lodge No 18 and Gray Harbor Lodge No. 52. He served as the Master of Aberdeen Lodge No. 52; he served as Worshipful Master of Aberdeen Lodge No. 52 three different years. A Masonic Memorial will be held for VWB Jack C. Parker at 3:00 p.m. on January 28, 2012 at the Masonic Center, 521 North Street, Tumwater, Washington. A private interment will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery at a future date. Please come and share your memories. Light refreshments and food will be available following the Masonic Memorial.
