Many local Masons think that what happened at my house today is what Freemasonry is really all about. Six local Masons from the Tenino Lodge came to my house today to mow the yard and weed whack. After having been in the hospital for nine days due to intestinal surgery and then at home for a week, the yard was just gotten completely overgrown. I couldn't have done it myself.
So, from 9 to noon, the Brothers came and worked and we had a fantastic barbecue lunch on the back deck. Yummy cheeseburgers, Mexican bean salad, chips, and chocolate chip cookie bars. Special thanks to my wife, Laurel.
